Layton Utah provides a variety of recreational activities for all ages. Layton has 11 city parks scattered across the town. It also contains Bamberger Trail and Kays Creek Parkwaywhich are paved cycling and walking trails within city boundaries. The Surf-N-Swim center has a public swimming pool as well as other raquetball courts.

For the avid golfer, Layton has three golf courses within city boundaries including Swan Lakes, Sun HIlls, and Valley View. Several more can be found in neaby cities.
